We Have Seen Powerful Positive Change Through Grassroots Action
The Power of Community
CT River Huddle is a local Indivisible Group with a mission to work toward a more perfect union, to preserve our democracy, through nonviolent civil engagement, education and calls to action. We are increasingly concerned citizens who see Project 2025 and the actions of this administration as a fundamental threat to our nation's democracy.

We are not affiliated with any political party. We do support candidates that work to have our county reach its highest ideals in its moral clarity, its compassion, its fiscal, environment and educational integrity, and by working to secure a place in it for every citizen to reach their highest potential. (adapted from Sherrilyn Ifill''s Selma is Stronger).

Coming Together In Community to Preserve Our Democracy
CODE OF CONDUCT:
  • WE MODEL VALUES OF INCLUSION, RESPECT, FAIRNESS AND NONVIOLENCE

  • ALL DISCOURSE WILL BE CIVIL AND RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS

  • BASICALLY FOLLOW THE RULES WE LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN

A group of young girls is standing on a grassy area holding protest signs advocating for women's rights. The text on the signs includes messages about women's right to choose. The girls are smiling and appear to be part of a larger gathering, as other people are visible in the background near a building labeled 'House of Representatives'. The image is in black and white.
